Apart from the basic talc coated thread, Rubberflex was the first company in Malaysia to produce:

  • The full range of EX (powderless) Silicone-coated threads which is so appreciated by the knitting industry because figures show that the needles on their machines last up to 5 times as long with our product.
  • A food grade thread which meets all current US and European nitrosamine limitations.
  • A new colour called Super-White which has since been emulated by all other rubber thread makers.
  • A super heat resistant thread in powderless form.
  • A super soft thread for the medical industry.
  • A weather resistant thread for the sock trade.

 
 

  • Talc-coated (RX) thread ranging from count 16 (1.58 mm dia) to count 125 (0.20 mm dia).
  • Powderless (EX) silicone coated thread from count 20 (1.27 mm dia) to count 100 (0.26 mm dia)
  • Food grade (MP) thread in RX for the manufacture of meat nettings.
  • High Modulus (HM) thread in RX & EX for the furniture industry.
  • Super soft thread for elasticated medical bandages.
  • Brightly coloured EX threads for the toy industry.
  • Baby Diaper grade thread.
  • Super Heat Resistant (SHR) threads in both RX & EX form.
  • Weather resistant thread (LQ) for the sock trade.

All our thread is manufactured to the latest safety standards and is certified to:

  • Oeko Tex (Eco Tex) standard 100 (safe for use in textiles and next to babies's skin)
  • Azo chemicals free (nitrous).
